This is a photo of the river side view of Pittsburgh, November 1996 (almost ten years ago!).
It was my first visit to the United States for my first conference speech at the International Conference. I was too nervous to speak to the audience in English, so I could not enjoy and eat so much. All I remembered at that time was a chinese restraurant in the river-side mall was awful ;-)
This photo is around Carnegie Melon University? I can't remember.
A boy in a trench coat is me, and his left man is Takagi-san. He is one of the most famous activist in computer security in Japan, but at that time he was an ordinary researcher in computer architecture.
